To keep it simple: It's uses your minutes if your not on unlimited.

Unlimited... you can do what you want no extra charge :)
References :
http://www.kapcom.com.au/Straight-Talk-Samsung-R451C-Cell-phone-Review.html

if you get the $45 unlimited plan everything is included, calls text, and web.. however ive had straight talk for a couple of months now, and everything was great... until recently the internet on my phone stopped working saying " internet service is not enabled" so for the past 2 or 3 weeks ive been calling Straigh Talk about this problem... they keep telling me to call back in 24 hrs... like i said its been 2 OR 3 WEEKS now and nothing has been resolved.. i spent 48mins and 42secs on the phone with them TODAY... and STILL nothing. This is very frusterating and upsetting that I'm paying all this money for my internet not to work and for them to keep giving me the run around and basically B/Sing me about solving the problem... if you dont already have Straight Talk, DONT GET IT... it is a peice of shyt service with shytty customer service..
References :
the 48mins and 42 secs i spend on the phone, and nothing was resolved..
Straight Talk users and Tracfone users have different pros and cons.

Straight Talk is strictly for heavy /unlimited users. Their 1000 minute/1000 message/30 meg plan for thirty dollars limits you to 1000 texts/mms in or out. Their unlimited plan obviously does not.

Straight Talk. Runs only on one network. But it's Verizon. No roaming. No international calls. Phone of same model is more expensive then Tracfone's version. But unlike Tracfone, it has real web and a real 3g phone . It is available only at Walmart, Walmart.com and Straighttalk.com I recommend Walmart.com/Walmart store as Straighttalk.com can be a real headache to get refunds or replacements if things go wrong.

Tracfone. Runs on over thirty networks, including Verizon depending on market. Phones are cheaper. No real web. International calling no extra charge to over sixty countries. Double minutes for life minute bonus. Free promo codes for more bonus minutes on top of that. Larger cards save you more money per use. Available just about anywhere. Expiration is three months, not one like ST.

ST is for heavy talkers/texters/web users. Tracfone is for light minute users.
