I want some information about Straight Talk?
Straight talk’s prices are significantly cheaper then other phone companies. For $30 it says I get 1,000 minutes, 1,000 texts and web access. Is there a catch? Is it good service?
Most informative answer will get best answer and a thumbs up.
the service is very good. it works on the verizon wireless prepaid network. it’s nationwide calling with no roaming charges. 411 calls at no extra cost. i have straight talk and i love it. and the fact that you can pay 30 dollars a month for 1,000 minutes, 1,000 text and picture messages and 30 MB of data and you can pay 45 dollars a month for unlimited every thing. it’s really nice. it’s prepaid, so no contracts. i have the samsung R451C phone and i get excellent service. each refill card gives you 30 days of service. there phones range between 30 dollars and 330 dollars. you can buy the phones and refill cards 3 ways: walmart stores (not all stores have it yet)(mine just got it 2 weeks ago), walmart.com and straighttalk.com. to see if it works in your area type in your zip code at straighttalk.com. NOTE: doing this just tells you if you can activate the phone in this zip code. i live in a zip code that gets perfect straighttalk service but i had to use the zip code that’s about 10 minutes from me to activate it. so if it says it won’t work in your area, it doesn’t mean that you won’t get service. so if this happens then go to walmart.com, type in straight talk, and type in your zip code. if walmart.com says it will work in your area, your good to go.
web browsing is not limited to certain websites. you can browse the entire internet. there is no international calling or international roaming at this time. your phone will not roam on any other network. i don’t recommend getting there touch screen phone for 330 dollars. it’s a very big disappointment. i highly recommend the Samsung R451C straight talk phone. it has a 1.3 mp camera, bluetooth capable, full keyboard, up to 500 contacts, music player, calendar, memo pad, alarm clock, world clock, calculator, stop watch, converter including conversions for currency, length, weight, volume, area, and temperature. and also a tip calculator and voice recognition . this phone costs 99.99 but is definitely worth it if you like to text and use the internet, because it makes it a lot easier. to finish off, i highly recommend straight talk. good luck deciding.
