McCain fails straight talk on birth control and Viagra

In July 2008, John McCain was asked his position on insurance companies covering drugs like Viagra but not birth control. He answered with an 8-second silence, even though he voted against a bill that would have required that birth control be equally covered. [Clinton/Reid amendment to FY06 Budget Resolution, S.Con.Res.18, 3/17/05.]

When asked again weeks later, he still couldnt muster a real answer. Now were demanding one.
