Does "The Manchurian Candidate" remind you of anyone? returning POW becomes a Senator, loose grip on reality..?
the SAME people who investigated Kerry have investigated McSame and found HUGE disparities between what he says happened and what other people, including DOD and fellow prisoners, have stated "on the record." Not saying that I believe it, in whole or in part, but it seems to be worth more scrutiny. Could he have changed his name from Iselin to Mccain? Enquiring minds want to know. America wants ’straight talk’……right?
ooooops…I forgot about the beyotchy wife…$indy does resemble a slimmer Angela Lansbury….hmmmm I wonder if John-boy plays cards…..is life one big garden party…..Like I said, I don’t believe it –yet, and I would love to see PROOF to the contrary, but things are getting curiouser and curiouser
here’s the link from someone who posted it earlier:

Evidently this research was done by the same people who investigated John Kerry; which would beg the question: if it’s sauce for the goose, isn’t it also sauce for the gander?
That is not a very accurate portrayal of the 1963 movie. The plot was to assassinate the Presidential candidate so the ultra conservative VP could step in his place and bring the US into a war. The main character was the son of the VP candidate’s wife who was brainwashed during the Korean war. They also alluded to a incestuous relationship between the mother and son.
So it’s the VP who is the one they want as President in the book. Nothing like how the Council for National Policy nominated Palin with 72 year old McCain… Umm.. wait a sec…

Hahahahahahah. . .
I am laughing because the other night, my husband made the very same reference while we were watching McCain speak. I thought it was rather frightening then too.

I don’t know if calling him Songbird is really fair.
I likely would have been very co-operative too.
But it does seem like he was trying to become a star on radio Hanoi.

still waiting for his "straight talk" about what really happened on the U.S.S. Forrestal! 130 servicemen killed……..and McCain eerily quiet about that incident in his life, but man, he loves talking about that "heroic" 5 years he spent as a POW.
For a 20 year veteran.,,,,,,he sures does skip over the OTHER 15 years alot! Don’t ya think?

Some straight talk form the democrats would be a delightful change. Thank you for bringing it up. Would love to hear something that wasn’t dripping with half truths and flat out lies.

I really doubt that he is the Manchurian Candidate just a once very good looking play boy type who got locked up for 5 years was interviewed and said, His captures were treating him fine. Attempted suicide etc.
He sort of was in and out of the Nepalm Nightmare of the 60’s an early 70’s on the edges the big problem with McCain is one he has aged dramatically in the past 3 years or so and does not always seem with it.
He is our Senator and thinks noble thought and makes noble promises then does not follow through. More Dr Jekell and Mr Hyde in his flip flops and associations only not quite that bad. He used GWB’s speech writer, did not get to pick his own VP as far as I can tell. So that concerns me.
