How long before Obama Creates Jobs?
I am a extremely frustrated college graduate and can’t find a job! I voted for Senator Obama because he was right on point with what I was concerned about the economy. But anyway how long do you think its going to be before he creates jobs for us college graduates? If you don’t like Obama I don’t care nor need to hear about it! Just straight talk to the point answers with no insults please. Thanks
Because I want new opinions!
When he can come up with things for you to do.
If your hoping for the President to "create" jobs…bad news.
Presidents don’t, businesses do.

Soo you voted for Obama to serve your own interests? Uh…ok.. Well its not as easy as just creating jobs. Taxes will increase to pay for those new jobs before new jobs are even created, so if you were looking for a quick fix to the economy, you should’ve voted McCain. Obamas plans will cost you before it’ll benefit you.

Well since FDR took 2 years to create jobs with his New Deal program that’s how long you’d be waiting at best. In fact since major corporations such as Sun Microsystems have laid off over 30% of their employees in 5 years, you’re not going to find work unless you go into the FBI which is hiring thousands of new operatives this next quarter. Tough luck kid.

You asked this before. I think Obama is waving his wand furiously but nothing is happening.

Even if there will be any professional jobs, Obama promised to the corporations to issue 100,000 H1B visas to fill these jobs with cheap immigrant labor.
You better start mailing applications to retailers and restaurants.

No offense, but if you can’t handle insults HERE, you’re not ready for the workplace. It’s tough out there and getting tougher. I’m not kidding.
First he needs to create jobs for the displaced workers who were already in the workforce, and who still have mortgages to pay and kids to send to school.
You can still stay at home with Mom and Dad. We ARE Mom and Dad.

he helped put us into it by sueing fannie mae and freddie mac when they didnt want to give out sub prime loans to people who couldnt pay it which led to their bankruptcy and the housing crisis. he also spent the most money ever on campagning and is going to do the same for his inaugeration. why didnt or doesnt he spend that money on paying people’s mortages and loans off? he also appointed timothy geithner WHO DIDNT EVEN PAY HIS TAXES FOR FOUR YEARS secretary of treasury.im sorry but people like you got him elected and now your going to have to pay for it. i hope to god he doesnt get re-elected.

I am in your shoes. Obama’s concern with the economy is important to me though. Especially since he has spent over 140 Million dollars on his own inauguration ceremony, the highest EVER in US history, never mind the fact we are in a depression.
And he is so concerned about the economy that he even appointed his new secretary of treasure, that "FORGOT" to pay taxes last year. Yes thats right, your new secretary of treasure "forgot" to pay taxes.
The disappointment is already starting, and he isn’t even in office yet.
Aren’t you glad you bought the "we can change" line??

Welp, I read an article today that said one of his first priorities will be to completely lift the ban on "Gays in the Military"
No more "Don’t ask, don’t tell" policy. You know how many Congressional Hearings with Pentagon Officials that will take, It will go on for months and be a media frenzy.
I know you need a job, and would like to eat and all of that, but too many Americans, like yourself, were loosing too much sleep every night, because gays could not completely express their sexual orientation in a Military setting.
Sorry dude, you’ll just have to wait, while more important issues are attended to…
