Why do the Kardashians have their own TV show?

ok, i they are a ‘wealthy family’… but?, first of all they are a family of socialites, each and everyone including their youngest are all opportunistic socialites, that built their careers on being socialites, and after a few playboy deals and minor roles in straight to dvd films, they end up with a tv show. The mother on that show swears at her daughters like a cheap whore at a race track, and the show is just weak and bland and shows the lives of nobodies with no real talent but examples of successful socialites that managed to talk themselves into getting hookups off other people to get to where they are now, a family that build success off of others. lame.
you could say the same thing about paris hilton, but her ship has sailed

I hadn’t seen very many episodes of Keeping up with the Kardashians when Kris (the mom) had signed Kim up for a deal with Playboy. Kim said she didn’t want to do any nude pictures and her mom (being her agent) said that it was fine. When they got to the photo shoot everyone working there told her that there WOULD be NUDE shots of Kim. I can NOT understand how Kim’s mother could SELL HER DAUGHTER like that? It’s almost as bad as just putting her on a street corner. I honestly feel sorry for them. And God help those twin girls they have.
