need answer quick about straight talk wireless?
i bought a straight talk phone from walmart… the cheapest phone available was a lg 220c, i am not able to get service in my area but the map shows that i should have 100% coverage, could it be the phone and if i buy a more expensive phone, different brand, should that help me get bars?
Straight Talk Wireless service is DOWN for pretty much everyone right now. And their customer service is non-existent. I made a recommendation to my sister regarding this service, now I feel like a jerk, because it has been 3 days since she has been able to make or receive a call. I would get you money back. Or you could just wait and cross your fingers.
P.S. If you check the site I listed below as a source, just be aware that is does not seem to be moderated and some of the language is terrible. Whether or not that bothers you…
Its worth a shot, sometimes different model phones get better coverage. Thats why I love Nokia phones, but anyways..have you tried updating to local towers? *228 hit send and let it do what it does, if not and you still dont get service Id take it back to Walmart. ST is on the Verizon network so it should get good service…but best of luck tho.
