Need help solving problem with belkin n wireless modem router?
I bought a belkin n wireless modem router (F5D8636uk4A) I got it all set up and working fine then after about half an hour I couldn’t connect to the internet, even though the internet light on the box was still a solid blue, i then restarted it (unplugged and plugged back in) and it worked again, for another half hour, then the same problem occurred, now eventually i don’t even get the half hour of internet, straight away it appears to set up fine, but truly it isn’t. Anybody know if this is my fault or a problem with the box, I already know that it isn’t a problem with the broadband, I have already talked to my ISP about it.
Sounds like you have a duff router.
Talk to whoever you bought it from.

to see whether there is a firmware update for the router that might address this issue.
Belkin hardware is … not top of the line stuff. You might be better served with Netgear, D-Link or Linksys equipment.
One thing to remember too: Make sure your network equipment is on an UPS (uninterruptible power supply), because if your power to your home is subject to micro-black-out this can affect network as well as computing equipment.
