ok thank you . i have been hearing from many people that the samsung would be better .
and what do you mean by its quirky camera , what is that , why is that bad ?
The Samsung kicks the Razr’s butt up and down the sidewalk . It is better then the Razr for several reasons. A 1.3 megapixel camera for GOOD pictures. The Razr’s VGA is about video quality. In other words, sucky. A FULL qwerty text keyboard. Ever try to text on a non keyboard Motorola? SLOW.
Also, the biggest strike against the Razr is this, this is a NEW Razr, the V3A, But, it is actually INFERIOR to the original Razr V3M and V3C which came out on Sprint and Verizon over two years ago. The V3M/C had stuff like a 1.3 megapixel camera and 3G/high speed evdo web while this Razr only has the slower , older 2.5 g web. The 3g one is FIVE times faster. Plus the original ones were built solid . The newer ST version is built like a fragile toy.
I say the Samsung hands down. Also, Samsungs are better built in general then Motorolas. Samsung is the number two phone maker in the world where Motorola used to be. I would pick a Samsung over a Motorola any day of the week. The only thing about the Samsung is its quirky camera. But hey, when is a phone ever perfect?

I agree with Mike. The only thing I would add is that I believe the Motorola has slightly better call quality. For a full review of the r451c, check out this link:

Another thing, supposedly before Christmas Straight Talk is going to release the Samsung Finesse r810, a touch screen phone that is already available on some other providers like MetroPCS and, I think, US Cellular. If you’re going to wait a while longer, that’s another one in the mix, though it’s pricey at $300. It supposedly will have EVDO, though, for much fast web access, although it remains to be seen whether STraight Talk will somehow limit that feature. It also has a 2.0mp camera and video recorder. Here’s a link to info about that one:
