Can I receive/send texts from Canada with Straight Talk Texting?
I’m thinking about getting the unlimited Straight Talk plan and phone… Can I send and receive texts to/from Canadian friends (I will be in America). I know from the website that although I cannot call my Canadian friends, they would be able to call me. Could someone who has one of these phones/plans answer my question, please?

PS. I’ve tried google already. I found details about the plan but none about texting to Canada.

International texts are no supported by Straight Talk
From the Straight Talk FAQ:
Will I be able to make or receive calls while in Puerto Rico or the US Virgin Islands?
You will not be able to make or receive calls on your Straight Talk when you are located anywhere outside of the continental United States.
Will I be able to make or receive calls international calls?
Straight Talk does not offer international roaming or international long distance service. Inside the United States, you will be able to receive international calls, but will not be able to make them.
